He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Landansky LaCava and Daniel D. LaCava; and his brother Dennie LaCava. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen LaCava; his sister Dolores McCrumb; his children, Danielle Stemple (Ryan) and Christopher LaCava (Iva); and his grandchildren, Julia and Theodore. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brusco-Falvo Funeral Home (214 Virginia Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15211). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Mount Church (403 Grandview Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15211). A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (718 Hazelwood Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15217).
