He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dawn Lafferty; his parents, Marie Black and William Andy Black; his brother David J. Lafferty (Debbie); his nieces and nephews, Brandi Gromley (Steve) and DJ Lafferty; and his great-nephews, Hunter and Harrison Gromley. He was also cherished by many friends and cousins.
A reception will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. (4201 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227).
