Dante Cappuccio Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dante Cappuccio (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Dante departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Dante. Though Dante may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Salverio "Sam" Cappuccio (Eleanor), Conffredo "Fred" Cappuccio (Mary Lou) and Pietro "Peter" Noreen Cappuccio. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Cappuccio (Kovak); his daughter Diane DeBease (Mark F.) of Rye, NY; and his grandchildren, Garrett DeBease of Rye, NY, Grant and Jessica (Granato). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd. (7450 Saltsburg Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (444 St John St, Pittsburgh, PA 15239).
