He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Presser and Mary Rose Presser; his siblings, Judy Szalajda (John), Tom and Bill Allman (Doris); and his sister-in-law Rita.

He is survived by: his pets, Roxy, Willie, Maizie, Leo, Ziggy and Buddy; his wife Claudia; his daughters, Rebecca (Ryan) and Sabrina; his stepson Arpad Lep; his grandson Henry; his niece Jennifer Maroney (Harry); and his nephews, Jeff (Riva) and John Szalajda. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in David's name to Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, 6926 Hamilton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15208.
