He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Clair and Cecilia Clair; and his siblings, John Clair (late Ellen), Gerald Clair (Marion), Margaret Clair and Allen Clair (Patricia).
He is survived by: his wife Carole Ann Clair; his children, Steven Clair (Theresa Bucci), Monica Graham (Bradley), Regina Farrell (Joseph), Christopher Clair (Erin Shehady) and Brendan Clair; his siblings, Robert Clair (Teresa) and Thomas Clair (Elsie); his grandchildren, Gregory Clair (Logan Wright), Matthew Clair (Jordan Bankert), Mary Walor (Eirk), Sarah Light (Casey), McKanna Graham, Claire Farrell, Morgan Graham, Joseph Farrell Jr., Frederick Clair, Otto Graham, David Farrell and Isabella; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Clair, John Light, Nora Clair, Nash Walor and Lucas Clair.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home (500 Greenfield Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15207). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Cathedral Parish (108 N Dithridge St, Pittsburgh, PA 15213).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to PreBorn! and The Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
