He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Harrington and Lillian Harrington (Evans); and his brother William. He is survived by: his niece Renee Lynn Harrington; his sister-in-law Sandy Harrington; and his cousins, Evans and Bevan.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association in David's name.
