He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Virginia Agnus Benner (Paradise); and his brother James Benner. He is survived by: his son John Joseph Benner; his siblings, Michael Benner (Kim) and Geri Everetts (Henry); his nieces, Heather, Michelle and Chelsea; his nephew Seth; and his former wife Patricia Benner.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in David's name to The American Cancer Society.
