We announce the death of David McAllister of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 3, 2026. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. David will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew David will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. David’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne B. McAllister (Waldron) and Dr. John D. McAllister; and his brother Dean. He is survived by: his siblings, John, Nancy, Susan and Margaret.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (310 Shady Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206).
