David touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While David’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.
He was predeceased by: his mother Laneice Olesnevich (Macurdy). He is survived by: his father Daniel L. Olesnevich; his brother Matthew L. Olesnevich (Erin); his niece Ava of Raleigh, NC; his sister Rachel Robinson; and his nieces and nephews, Kristofer, Elyzabith and Madelyn of Butler. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc. (410 W Main St, Saxonburg, PA 16056). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (821 Herman Rd, Butler, PA 16002).
In honor of David's memory, contributions may be made to his son Logan's 529 college savings plan to support Logan's future education.
