David Hale Sample Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2024, at the age of 89, David Hale Sample of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer "William" Sample and Martha Sample (Hale); his son William David Sample; and his sister Mary Knoll. He is survived by: his wife Rose Angeline Casadonte; his children, Linda Diffendal (Don) and Jim Sample (Jane); his grandchildren, Theresa Diffendal, Eric Diffendal, Melissa Sample, William Sample and Jessicca Richard (Brian); his great grandchildren, Aeva and Celesta Richard; his siblings-in-law, Art Casadonte and Sherri Casadonte; and his sibling's children, Marti Knoll, Dennis Knoll and Brett Casadonte. He is also survived by three children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
