He was predeceased by: his parents, Nevin Hillegass and Ruth Hillegass; his brother Jay; and his wife Mary Jean. He is survived by: his sister Helen Ann Knepper of Massachusetts; his children, Craig Hillegass of Colorado and Terri Keeney of West Virginia; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Lindsey, Caroline, Kimberly and Emily. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
