He was predeceased by: his grandson Nikolas "Niko" Kouknas. He is survived by: his sister Haroula Asvesta of Patras; his children, Makis Baltimas (Maria) of Patras, Alexios Baltimas (Niki) of Patras, Dimitrios Baltimas (Eleni) of San Diego and Dionysios Baltimas of Patras; his great-nephew Fotis; his great-niece Elpida; and his former wife JoAnna "Anna" Asvestas (Kalas). He is also survived by his four nephews.
