He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra L. Phillips; his parents, Elizabeth Phillips (Schreibeis) and Clifford Phillips; and his brother David Foster Phillips. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Lee Thompson (Donny) and Holly Lynn Muffett (Carl); and his grandchildren, Richard Nicholson, Corinne Phillips and Axl Muffett.
