She was predeceased by: her parents, William Derda (Bill) and Eugenia Derda (Jean); her husband Jack Scanlon (Scoop); and her sister Jean Jarvis (Derda). She is survived by: her nephew Glenn Jarvis (Mariann Luksik-Jarvis); and her great-niece Gwen Jarvis.
