With solemn reverence, we commemorate Dorothy H. Snyder (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), whose life came to an end on September 23, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Snyder; and her parents, Clara Howley and William Howley. She is survived by: her sisters, Kathy Ramassini (John) and Mary Lou Mathias (Chuck); and her siblings' children, Joanne, Krista Sipos (Dan), Chuck Mathias, Rich Ramassini (Kristy), Dave Ramassini (Amanda) and Steve Ramassini (Kristin). She is also survived by thirteen Great nieces and nephews and many, many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Freyvogel Slater Funeral Directors (112 Fort Couch Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15241). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Resurrection Parish (126 Fort Couch Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15241). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Friendship Village (1290 Boyce Rd, Upper St Clair, PA 15241).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the local library or community arts program, in keeping with Dorothy's lifelong support of creativity, learning, and connection.
