We are sad to announce that, on December 18, 2025, at the age of 97, Earl Myron Schaffer (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Schaffer and Edith Schaffer (Abelson); his wife Bee; and his son Michael. He is survived by: his children, Eric Schaffer (Michele Gray-Schaffer), Scott Schaffer and Melissa Schaffer (Don Rifkin); and his grandchildren, Abby Schaffer, Ethan Schaffer (Marie Hildebrand), Gregory Schaffer, Moses Rifkin and Ezra Rifkin.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Bee Schaffer Music Fund at Rodef Shalom Congregation.
