It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward G. Skurkay of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Skurkay and Mary Ann Skurkay (Yurchison). He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Ellen Skurkay Scheibe, Deborah Ann Skurkay Hartig and Diane Marie Skurkay Thibaudeau; his siblings' children, Christopher George Michaels, Nathan Hartig, Maria Jessica Weber, Emma Thibaudeau, Mara Hartig, Clair Thibaudeau, Eve Hartig, Jeremy Michael Weber (Kassandra), David Thomas Michaels (Stephanie) and Marc Taylor Bickney; his sister-in-law Barbara Roberts; and his niece Victoria Roberts.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care (5405 Steubenville Pike, McKees Rocks, PA 15136). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
