He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Gruber and Anne Gruber (Pegher); his son Jacob Emanuel Gruber; and his sisters, Nancy Taylor Delancey and Elizabeth Ann Labuda (Betty).
He is survived by: his wife Terri Irving Gruber; his sons, Jonathan Gruber and Edward Gruber (Megan Heintz); and his siblings, Charlotte Cooper, Dale Gruber (Bruce Freeman), John Gruber, Dolly Snyder (Tom), Darlene Kelley Anderson and Ron Gruber (Jane). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home (500 Greenfield Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15207).
