“I knew Ed by his middle name - Ivan. He attended Carnegie "Tech" with my Dad and was a lifelong friend to our family. He vacationed with us in Ocean City, New Jersey for many years and later, accompanied by his beloved Laura, spent winters near my parents in Florida. Space doesn't allow for my decades of happy memories with him but suffice it to say, he was a huge and loveable character - kind, beyond intelligent, a gourmet, musician, voracious reader (I already miss his frequent emails). RIP”

“I only learned of Edward passing today. He was such a sweet man. I had the pleasure to know him as I was one of his CNAs. He spoke often of his dearly departed wife and time in the orchestra. I loved hearing his stories of where they played. He spoke of his nephew often as well. My deepest sympathies to all his family and friends. Rest in peace dear Ed and may God hold you close.
