He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Jane Gavalek (Allenberg); his daughter Mary Beth "Betsy" Gavalek; and his parents, Edward Conrad Gavalek and Cecilia Theresa Zdrojkowski. He is survived by: his children, Edward Gavalek (Chastity), Julianne Gavalek and Carole Oplinger (Jim); his grandchildren, Michael (Rebecca), Conrad (Crystal), Nicholas (Amanda), Danielle, Katelyn, Lukas and Dakoata; and his pets, Milo and Sarah.
