With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Schneider of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 21, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jacob A. Schneider and Anna Schneider (Frankovich-Cessar); his grandson Gary Kozak; his great grandchild Olivia; and his siblings, Jacob Schneider, Marie Shalonis (Pete) and Barbara Schneider.

He is survived by : his wife Clara Mae (Kunz); his daughters, Elaine M. Kozak (late Gary Kozak), Paula J. Exler, Beth A. Schmidt (Clark Schmidt), Kathy J. Knight, Christine A. Spiker (Frank Spiker) and Karen S. Schmidt; his grandchildren, Eddie Kozak (Alisa), Sonya Kozak, Vanessa Kozak, Katherine Wesley (John), Anna Kozak (Josh), Katelyn Hill (Steven), Ryan Exler (Spencer), Christina Wojtowicz (Philip), David Schmidt (Joyce), Ethan Knight, Joanna Knight, Eric Spiker (Casey), Joey Spiker, Alex McComb (Alyssa), Kayla McComb and Samuel Schmidt; his great grandchildren, Margaret, Noah, Elena, Nora, Yah Yah, Lu Lu, Christopher, Liam, Gary, Richie, Joshua, Hayden, Delaney, Braydon, Sage, Tyler, Zach and Kaitlynn; his grandchildren, Zeke, Zandra, Zealand and Zeplyn; and his brother-in-law Joe Kunz (Vicky).
