With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edwin A. Smith Sr. (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his wife Arlene Smith (Elmeier); and his daughter Mary. He is survived by: his children, Edwin (Lorena), Ernest (Kathleen), Harry, Charlene Helt (Bruce), Eric (Sheryl) and Catherine Usner (Richard); and his siblings, Lester Smith and Carol Lightner. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
