He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Calig and Mabel Calig; and his sister Rhoda Mendelson Barovsky. He is survived by: his sibling Sandy Philips; his children, Debbie Brode (Kevin), Lynda Theiler (Greg) and Jeff Calig (Lauren); his grandchildren, Danny (Alyssa), Matthew (Hannah), Michael, Andrew Brode, Sarah Stich (Jordan), Rachel Theiler, Gillian Bold (Steven) and Ethan Calig (Michaela); and his caregivers, Annie, Kitty and JJ.
