It is with sadness that the passing of Elizabeth Philomena (DeFazio) Blacka of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is shared. Elizabeth, born on April 14, 1934, passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary DeFazio and Anthony DeFazio; her husband Edward Blacka; her granddaughter Mary Grace; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Lou DeFazio, Mary Jean DeFazio, Gail Koslosky and Jim Koslosky.
She is survived by: her brother Tom DeFazio (Mary Jean); her children, Edward (Sharon) and Cynthia (Gene); her grandchildren, Edward (Lexi), Zachary, Lucas (Gabby), Darrin, Nicholas and Elizabeth; her great grandchildren, Darrin Jr., Kinsley, Salvatore and Dominic; and her brother Don (Mary Lou). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Monroeville Assembly of God (4561 Old William Penn Hwy, Monroeville, PA 15146). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
