He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Rao and Ida Rao; and his sister Roberta Powers. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Rao (Lippert); his children, Frank Jr. Rao (Heidi), Valerie Buckley, Melissa Smith (Robert), Mark Rao, Matthew Rao and Kevin Rao; his grandchildren, Nolan, Mallory, Ashton, Michael-Patrick, Cullen, Jameson, Dawson, Sarah, Jason, Drake, Gavin and Cassius; his siblings, June Termini (John), Paul Rao (Martina), David Rao (Maryann) and Joseph Rao (Helen); and also Jackie Rao (Palas). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
