As Gary departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gary. Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Amanda (Kopec); his children, Haley and Allie; his parents, Terry Churchfield and Maureen Churchfield; and his grandparents, Janice Hastings and Papo Hastings. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd. Roth Chapel (7450 Saltsburg Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Living Word (200 Elicker Rd, Plum, PA 15239).
