He is survived by: his wife Ralphetta Smiley (Conforti); his sons, Alan Smiley (Mindy) of West Pittsburgh and Andy Smiley of West Pittsburgh; his stepchildren, Lisa Valentino (Michael Shook) of Rochester and Joseph Valentino (Shannon) of Pittsburgh; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Ava, Phoebe and Mallory; his siblings, Kimberly McAnallen (Dennis) of Edinburg and Robert "Bobby" Smiley (Debora) of Volant; and his in-laws, Bernadette, Larry Honsaker, Teresa, John Kosele, Anthony Conforti (Sandy Mitiko), Angela and Mike Lauster.
