He is survived by: his children, Barbara DeFazio (John), Patricia Boyle, Rosemary Hogan (late Vincent), George W. Boyle III (Debbie), Jim Boyle (Donna) and Tom Boyle (Janet); and his grandchildren, Stephen, Andy, Dan, Leah, Katie, Jimmy, Mary, David, Christopher, George IV, Kevin, Kenny and Billy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of his beloved wife, Jean Boyle, to the Alzheimer's Association, Pittsburgh Office, 2835 E. Carson Street, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
