He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Cross; his friend Joan Boyd; and his siblings, Lou, Sophie, Tom and Mike.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Appman (Bill) and Kathy Holland (Gene Page); his grandchildren, Will Appman (Kendall), Tim Appman (Liz) and Kendall Holland; and his brother Sam (Andrea). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
