We bid farewell to George M. Hein (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 1, 2025 at the age of 96. George touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hein and Marcella Staud Hein; and his siblings, Beatrice Hein Kennedy, Irma C. Hein, Elmer J. Hein, Jr. and Paul R. Hein.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Virginia Gatto Hein; his sons, David A. Hein (Lynn), James M. Hein (Frances) and John R. Hein; and his grandchildren, Andrew (Meghan), Alexander (Anna), Brendan Hein and Jaclyn Lemon (Cameron).
In lieu of flowers, family asks donations be made in George's name to either Little Sisters of the Poor (https://littlesistersofthepoorpittsburgh.org) or North Catholic High School.
