He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas G. Zaimes and Aglaia (Zaferiou). He is survived by: his wife Dena "Denise" (Nichols) of Sheffield Village, OH; his children, Tom Zaimes and Lia Augoustidis (Alex) of Cleveland, Ohio; his grandchildren, Zannetos "Zane" Augoustidis, Anastasia "Tess" Augoustidis and George Augoustidis; and his siblings, Emmanuel T. Zaimes (Roberta) and Dean T Zaimes.

Memorial donations may be offered to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church Legacy Fund, or Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church Agape Fund, or All Saints Canonsburg, PA George was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas G. Zaimes and Aglaia (Zaferiou).
