She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennie Dering and Horace "Curly" Dering; and her sisters, Rebecca Vargo and Lee Ann Eistentraut. She is survived by: her brother Thomas Dering (Dale Zubik); her children, Philip Held-Hernandez (Jorge) and Jennifer Marshall (Christian); and her grandchildren, Nicholas Reno, Taylor Reno, Ivy Marshall and Zachary Marshall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, you can honor Georgeann's life by donating to the World Wildlife Fund for panda conservation efforts or to the Gentiva Foundation in support of hospice care for others.
