She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace D. Stroud and Berniece M. Stroud (Chandler); her former husband Donald B. Langford; and her daughter Felecia. She is survived by: her husband Arthur L. Harris Jr.; her daughters, Rochelle Johnson (Geoffrey) and Monique McIntosh (Eric); her stepchildren, Arthur L. Harris III, William G. Harris (Shazia), Deborah Camper and Leah DeBold (Lothar); and her siblings, Dennis Michael Stroud and Maryann Lightfoot (James). She is also survived by five children, 15 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In recognition of her contributions to preserving the rich history of African American gospel music in the Greater Pittsburgh region, she was honored with the Rankin/Mon Valley/Pittsburgh National Council of Negro Women Legacy Award.
