Harvey Potashman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey Potashman of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 26, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose (Meyer Potashman) and Harvey; his wife Anita; and his siblings, Sylvia Iwler and Jerome Meyers.
He is survived by: his children, Ilene Cohen (Steven), Cheryl Kirshner (Miles) and Meyer Potashman (Michele); and his grandchildren, Daniel Cohen, Michal Cohen (Jordan Gibbs), Alex Kirshner (Molly Ellison), Joel Kirshner (Christina Im), Hannan Potashman and Amiel Potashman.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Beth El Congregation (1900 Cochran Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15220).
The family welcomes donations to the Helene Weinstein Fund at Beth El Congregation.
