We announce the death of Harvey Wolfe (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 88. Harvey will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Gail Wolfe (Roffman); and his brother Alan Wolfe. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Andrew Wolfe (Roni), Bonnie Bloom (Ted), Rabbi Stephanie Wolfe and Shoshanah Drake (Brian); his grandchildren, Kira, Molly, Trevor, Sarah and Paige; and his sister-in-law Gail Wolfe.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:30 PM and at 2:30 PM at the Ralph Schugar Chapel (5509 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15232).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Harvey and Elaine Wolfe Rabbinic Chair Endowment at Temple David, 4415 Northern Pike, Monroeville, PA 15146, or to the Albert G. Holzman Memorial Scholarship for Excellence in Industrial Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh.
