She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Girdis and Helen Girdis; her brothers, Joseph, Bruno and John Girdis; and her daughter-in-law Maria Zappa.
She is survived by: her children, Donny Zappa (Alison), Vince Zappa (Krissy) and Anna Rizza (Bernie); her grandchildren, Phil, Nina, Luke, Alena, Michael, Sofia Zappa, Alex and Julian Rizza; and her great grandchildren, Georgia, Bennett Zappa, Vera and Lola Rizza.
