He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Rathmann and Ruth Rathmann (Enos); and his siblings, Harold Rathmann Jr. and Marilyn Gable of Battle Creek, MI.. He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Lefler); and his children, Ron Rathmann of St. Joseph, MO, Rari Thomas (Patrick) of White City, KS, Jennifer Lefler Rathmann of Pittsburgh and Michael Glazer of Normal, IL..
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 7:00 AM and at 7:00 PM at the H. P. Brandt Funeral Home (1032 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, PA 15237). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
