With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene J. (Grecho) Kristakis (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene J. (Grecho) Kristakis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Grecho and Mary Dudek; her siblings, Walter Rosick, Mary C. McCaffrey (Grecho) and John C. Rosick; her sister-in-law Mary L. Rosick; her nephew John C. Rosick Jr.; her niece Mary Crum (Rosick); and her brother-in-law James P. McCaffrey.
She is survived by: her husband John Kristakis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church (123 Gilkeson Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15228). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:15 AM at the Homewood Cemetery (1599 S Dallas Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15217).
