It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Isabel T. Leindecker of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 25, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Andrew A. Simasek and Raymond J. Leindecker; her daughter Madeline Simasek (William Bollendorf); her parents, Vincent Gaetano and Mary Gaetano (Calabrese); her brothers, Anthony Gaetano (Catherine), Vincent Gaetano (Joan) and Joseph "Moppo" Gaetano (Dorothy); and her stepson David.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Jo Capizzi (Chris) and Andrew Simasek (Mary Grace); her grandchildren, Anthony Simasek (Liz), Isabelle Bollendorf (Jacob), Peter Simasek (Darcy), Clare Simasek, Evan Leindecker, Nicholas Leindecker (Fiona) and Dana Leindecker; her great grandchildren, Oriana, Siena Grace, Cameron and Leo; and her stepchildren, Joseph Leindecker (Nancy), Evalina Leindecker, James Leindecker and John Leindecker. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
