He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne Catherine Didion (Yates); his brother John Didion; and his sibling's child Little John. He is survived by: his son Sean J. Didion (LaDonna M. Drabick); his sister Louise Ringler; his grandsons, Jayson, James and Jonathan; and his nieces, Dawn Ann Didion, April, Sarah and Ann.
