We announce the death of James A. Ebitz (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 4, 2026. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, William George Ebitz and Florence Ebitz; his brother Craig Ebitz; and his niece Nikki McCoy. He is survived by: his siblings, Jill Lappe, Georgia McCoy (late George), William Ebitz (Donna), Linda Ebitz-Sukitsch (late Tom) and Theresa Morrow; and his fiancée Karen McNamara. He is also survived by fourteen nieces and nephews and seventeen great nieces and nephews.
