He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Gordon Edwards and Sadie Powell Edwards. He is survived by: his brother Robert G. Edwards; his nieces and nephews, Marla Thompson, Travis Thompson Sr., Robert G. Edwards Jr. and Shalom Robin Kumar (Barinder); his great-nieces and great-nephews, James Robert Edwards, Delsen Robert Edwards, Tate, Travis Jayden Thompson Jr. and Nina Axlie EdwardsSchroder; and his cousins, Shirley Green of Atlanta Georgia and Brenda Edwards of Pittsburgh, PA.
