We announce the death of James Winter of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 93. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Winter and Margaret Winter (Wallisch); his son William J. "Bill" Winter (Sandy); and his sibling Laurence A. Winter (Patricia). He is survived by: his wife Marlene S. Winter (Galiszewski); his daughter Stephanie (Robert Naill); his grandson James P. Winter (Maggie); his great grandchildren, Alia, Zelena, ArchiDrew Winter and Zowen Fike; and his sibling Bishop William Winter.
