It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jane S. Pillar (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away at the age of 84, on October 4, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Stewart and Dorothy Stewart; and her grandson Jeevan Pillar. She is survived by: her husband John Pillar; her children, Lauren Trocano (Jim), Jim (Karen Walter), Susan and Karen Pillar; her grandchildren, Grace, Dan Trocano and Kelvin Pillar; and her siblings, Susan Ives (Barry), Mike Stewart (Victoria) and Peggy Greenwood (Roger). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Freyvogel-Slater Funeral Directors (112 Fort Couch Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15241). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Resurrection Parish.
