We are sad to announce that, on May 12, 2022, Jie Hu (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hu Guoming and Wang Furong. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Penger Tong; her siblings, Jingxian Hu, Ping Hu, Cong Hu and Jian Hu; her son Eric Tong; her daughter-in-law Christina Chiou; and her granddaughters, Madison and Sophie. She is also survived by her family and friends.

She loved the artistic creations of her granddaughters and missed spending more time with them due to the pandemic.
