In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Joan had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Joan may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Patty S. Boyer, John Linder and Rich Linder; her grandchildren, Johnny Linder (Amanda), Clint Linder and Heather Barrera (Justin); her great grandchildren, Brock, Dylan, Sara, Isaac and Caleb; and her brother Earl Gelzhiser (late Barb). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. (4201 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
