She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Celia Kayganovich (Malanson) and John Kayganovich; her husband James F. Lally; her daughters, Michelle H. Lally and Esquire (Philip B. Skender); her sister Helen Seery McBride of Philadelphia; her niece Lisa Kay Hanson of Collingswood, NJ; and her cousin Kathleen McBride Shoup of Philadelphia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. (4900 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Cathedral (108 N Dithridge St, Pittsburgh, PA 15213). After Jim's passing in 2014 and Joan's move to the North Hills, she continued to be active in her community and enjoyed many activities before the COVID pandemic.
