She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Leuthner and Elizabeth Leuthner. She is survived by: her husband George Maerz; her children, Emily and Tommy (Sarah); and her pets, Buddy and Ellie.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Welcome Center at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden (799 Pinkerton Run Rd, Oakdale, PA 15071).
