It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan McGuire (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 18, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Terry McGuire; her daughters, Jamie Hamilton (Doug) and Meghan Martin (Jonathan); her grandchildren, Jake, Brady, Tucker, Harrison and Nora; and her sisters, Jean Ollis and Debbie Caterino.

“I just learned that Joan passed away in May 2020. My deepest sympathy to the McGuire family. I first met Joan in 1977 when I began teaching at Northview Heights School. Joan was an excellent teacher and always willing to share her expertise with others. When I transferred and began teaching 1st grade , I called Joan and she helped me so much. She was a sharing, kind, and giving person. I know that you will miss her, but one thing you can be certain of her family was #1 with her.”
