In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Joan leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Joan may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Heppenstall and Marion Heppenstall (Dickson); her sister Nancy H. Kennedy; and her husband John R. Sieber. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Simons, Susan McGinley, John Sieber, Jr. (Kate), Jeffrey Sieber (Lisa) and Sam Sieber. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church (384 Fox Chapel Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15238).
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church or the Cooper-Siegel Community Library.
